Standard Penetration Test
On November 10, 2018, a group of Civil engineering students including third year, second and first year students under ICI GECB student chapter conducted site investigation for the newly proposed building of our college.
Based on available documentation and with the assistance of, standard penetration test was conducted. SPT test was done in accordance with BS. 5930: 1999.
Thus we obtained information on the physical properties of soil and rock around a site to design earthworks and structures caused by subsurface conditions.
